Polyacrylamide emulsion is made by dispersion method or inverse emulsion polymerization method. It is a form of polyacrylamide liquid and has the characteristics of a solid flocculant. It adsorbs suspended solid particles in water through polar groups in the molecular chain, bridges the particles or neutralizes the charges to form large floccules.

Compared with solid polyacrylamide flocculants, polyacrylamide emulsions have the characteristics of fast dissolution, low energy consumption, and convenient storage and use.

Anionic and cationic polyacrylamide emulsions have the characteristics of wider pH range, higher charge stability, better flocculation effect, and less dosage. They are also suitable for construction sites that do not have the ability to install larger dissolution equipment.

Polyacrylamide emulsion is widely used in various domestic sewage, chemical wastewater, oilfield sewage, sludge dehydration treatment, papermaking and other fields. Polyacrylamide oil-in-water emulsion is also widely used in urban domestic sewage treatment, breweries, starch factories, food processing plants and other sewage treatment.

It is particularly suitable for flocculation and precipitation of organic suspended matter in acidic or slightly acidic sewage. It is used as a retention and filtration aid in the papermaking industry and is used for the treatment of papermaking sewage. It can be used as an emulsion coating agent or drilling degreasing agent in the petroleum industry.

1. Before using the amide amide emulsion product, you should shake it thoroughly first;


2. When dissolving, add this product while adding water. The dissolution concentration is recommended to be controlled at 1-5‰, and the maturation time is preferably about 15-25 minutes;


3. Avoid using high-shear pumps such as centrifugal pumps in pipelines. It is best to use low-shear pumps such as screw pumps and centrifugal pumps;


4. The dissolution operation should be carried out in a tank made of plastic, ceramic, stainless steel and other materials. The stirring should not be too large to avoid temperature increase.


5. The diluted polyacrylamide emulsion should not be stored for a long time. It is best to dissolve it on demand;


6. When polyacrylamide emulsion is used together with inorganic coagulants to treat wastewater, the inorganic coagulant should be added first, and this product should be added when obvious alum bloom appears (generally about 30-60 seconds apart). The order cannot be reversed, and it cannot be added at the same time.

1. At room temperature, the storage period in a sealed container is generally 6 months, and pay attention to avoid light;


2. When storing in small barrels, pay attention to regular turning and shaking to achieve full mixing and prevent stratification;


3. When storing in large containers, install a multi-blade stirrer that can reach the bottom of the container and turn it on regularly, or install a circulation pump to circulate and stir regularly to ensure full mixing and prevent stratification.


4. The best storage temperature is 10-27 °C. The product cannot be frozen, otherwise it will affect its performance.


5. If the product is frozen, move it to a place with higher temperature to slowly thaw it. Mix it thoroughly before use and filter it with a 100-mesh screen.
